Not just the US, several international bodies have been raising their voice for the tennis star, who went missing after making allegations of sexual exploitation by a former vice-premier of China Zhang Gaoli.

The global body, the United Nations has also been demanding a transparent investigation into the claims made by former world’s top-ranked doubles player from China against Gaoli.

35-year-old Peng has been getting support from many sports bodies as the head of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) said the WTA is all geared up to cease down lucrative business ties with China if no proofs of whereabouts of Peng are published.
