According to the Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard, the country of the United States will be investing in Central America and southern Mexico in order to promote development and help curbing immigration. This statement from the Mexican foreign came a leaders’ summit in Washington, where the President of the Mexico Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador met his American counterpart Joe Biden and the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Talking to the reporters, the Mexican foreign minister said that the United States would contribute to a scheme that might be called as sembrando oportunidades.

Without revealing much, Ebrard said that for this project, the Mexican government would be joining hands with American agencies. He further said that the most important thing is that there’s been a response to what President Lopez Obrador has been proposing in relation to migration and the future.
