• China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) has deployed multiple warships in the disputed South China Sea
In wake of growing dominance of China in disputed South China Sea and the Indo-Pacific region, the former Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe has urged it’s neighbor not to provoke anyone or seek territorial expansion, as this adventure could be suicidal.
In a video message at a security forum, the Japanese PM Abe said that any sort of adventure in military affairs, if pursued by such a huge economy like China’s, could be suicidal to say the least.
The former Japanese PM had resigned last year, though he still holds significance in the national politics.
He said that they must urge them not to pursue territorial expansion and restrain from provoking, often bullying, their neighbours because it should harm their own interests.
On the other hand, China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) has deployed multiple warships in the South China Sea. This is the prime reason why several countries like the United States, India, Japan and Australia are unhappy with Beijing.
