In wake of new 5G service that is being launched by teleservice providers AT&T and Verizon, many international airlines are saying that they will be cancelling flights into the United States.
The airlines that have announced suspension of services include Emirates, Air India, All Nippon Airways and Japan Airlines.
According to Emirates, it would temporarily stop flights into nine American airports of Boston, Chicago O’Hare, Dallas Fort Worth, George Bush Intercontinental in Houston, Miami, Newark, Orlando, San Francisco and Seattle. Emirates also said in a statement that it would continue it’s services into New York’s John F. Kennedy airport, the Los Angeles airport and Washington Dulles.
It further said that they are working closely with aircraft manufacturers and the relevant authorities to alleviate operational concerns, and they hope to resume our US services as soon as possible.
Indian air-carrier Air India said that it is cancelling flights between Delhi Airport and San Francisco, Chicago and JFK. It is also suspending will also suspend a flight between Mumbai and Newark.
