BMW is generally known for its cars and EV technology. But the company has now prepared an electric wingsuit, which looks like Batman. Wearing which you can fly in the sky. Its design has been designed by professional skydiver Peter Salzman, who was working on this project for the last three years. This suit is fully electric. An agreement was reached between BMW i and Design Works, after which this wingsuit was produced. Wearing this suit, Peter Salzman tested in the air, whose video has also been shared on YouTube.
The chest mounts of this suit are fitted with two carbon propellers and so-called impellers, each of which generates an output of 7.5 kW power. It has a rpm of about 25,000 and a total output of 15 kW, this suit is currently being used only at testing level. The speed of the wingsuit is usually up to 100 kmph, but it has been designed in such a way that its speed is said to be more than 300 km per hour.
During the first test, Salzman jumped down from a helicopter from a height of 9,800 feet along with two other wingsuit operators. This test was done with complete safety over the mountains of Austria. All wingsuit pilots were able to fly around the mountains. Salzman started using wingsuits when he almost got close to the mountains, the flight was successful and the suit set a record.
