Triumph Motorcycles has introduced the all-new Trident 660 Roadster to the world. The Trident will be the cheapest bike in the Triumph triple roadster line-up. The price of this bike made by Hinckley design team starts from 7,195 British pounds or Rs 6.97 lakhs. The Trident will be offered in four color options, Silver Ice and Diablo Red, Matte Jet Black and Matte Silver Ice in addition to two tones, Crystal White and Sapphire Black. The bike weighs 189 kg.

Talking about technology, the Trident 660 has ride-by-wire, two riding modes – road and rain, ABS, traction control and LED lighting. The motorcycle also gets a new full-color TFT display with optional ‘My Triumph’ connectivity system. The bike is built on a new tubular steel chassis, with a 41 mm Shoa shocker as well as a Showa monoshock. The front gets 310 mm twin disc brakes with 17 inch wheels while the rear also gets discs.

The Trident offers a 660 cc in-line triple cylinder engine. It makes 80 bhp at 10,250 rpm with 64 Nm peak torque at 6,250 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slip / assist clutch. Triumph says that 90 percent torque is available in the entire rev range. Prices for global markets will come out in the first week of November 2020. and yes! The Triumph Trident 660 will also arrive in India in early 2021.
