US President Donald Trump  , along with his wife Melania Trump, lit a Diwali lamp at the White House on Saturday (local time) and greeted people on the occasion of Prakash Parv. In a statement issued from the White House, President Trump said, “The First Lady and I extend my heartfelt greetings to all those celebrating Diwali this week. This festival of light celebrations includes friends, neighbors, and loved ones who take on evil.” The spiritual victory of good is the sign of victory over light over darkness and knowledge over ignorance. In this festival, lamps are lit at homes, workplaces, community sites and places of worship. The warmth of this festival reminds us of the hope and devotion that Faith and tradition are the core of our lives. 

In his message, Donald Trump stated, “The United States is a credible nation, and I am proud of the work of my administration that defends the constitutional right of all Americans and protects them in living and worshiping according to their conscience.” “.
