A hospital in eastern England paid a heartfelt tribute to a “dedicated and committed” doctor of Indian origin who died of Kovid-19 on Friday. The 46-year-old doctor Krishnan Subramanian, a consultant in the Department of Anesthesia at the Royal Derby Hospital of the University Hospital of Derby and Bertone NHS Foundation (UHDB), died on Thursday at Glenfield Hospital in Leicester.
The trust said that a one-minute silence will be kept at the main gate of the Royal Derby Hospital at 11 am (local time) on Monday in his memory. Trust chief executive Gavin Boyle said, “UHDB is a sad day for the family.” Krishnan was an important member of this family and throughout this year he worked tirelessly to help the needy. Our condolences are with his family at such a time and I express my condolences on behalf of UHDB.
