Renault India has finally lifted the curtain from the HBC concept which will be known as Renault Kaigar. The new Renault Kaigar concept is the company’s upcoming subcompact SUV that will be built on the Renault Tribar platform. Renault says that the car will be fitted with a brand new engine. Renault will launch this car in India in 2021 and Renault has also claimed that this car will be surpassed to sell 1 million units in the Indian market soon. Renault has entered the subcompact SUV segment with this sub-4 meter vehicle where the company will have to face a tough competition.

The new Kaigar is designed and built by the corporate design team of France and India. Its design resembles the Kwid, but the Kaigar is provided with wide LED bands that appear on the face of the car, along with the car will come with triple LED headlights. The car features a signature pattern with remy-floating roof, tilted rear window and taped mirrors and a C-shaped LED taillight. Renau says that Kaigar will be similar to the concept up to 80 percent. This car will be launched in India next year and it will be launched in the overseas market from here.

Talking about the engine, Renault India has given a completely new engine with new Kaigar, although the company has not yet provided any information about this engine. We believe the car will be fitted with a 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbo petrol engine and the company will likely offer this SUV in both manual and automatic transmission options. The company has not even seen the glimpse of the cabin of the new car yet, but it is believed that it will be provided with a large screen and digital instrument cluster, in addition to it, Renault Kaigar is also estimated to be a connected car.
The company has not revealed any information about the price of 2021 Renault Kaigar, while it is being speculated that the base variant of the base variant of the car will be priced at Rs 5.5 lakh. The new Kaigar will be produced domestically at Renault-Nissan’s Tamil Nadu plant and that is why we expect this car to be attractive according to the initial price comparison. As we told you, the Kaigar will be sold in a segment where the car will face stiff competition, so after the launch it will compete with many cars like Nissan Magnite, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonnet, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Tata Nexon. .
