Recently Renault India has removed the curtain from the ACHBC concept which will be known as Renault Kaigar. The new Renault Kaigar Concept is the company’s upcoming subcompact SUV that will be built on the Renault Tribar platform. Kaigar has appeared in India during testing soon after making his debut and new alloy wheels have appeared with this car. Renault says that the car will be fitted with a brand new engine. After the launch, it will compete with many cars like Nissan Magnite, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonnet, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Tata Nexon. Renault has entered the subcompact SUV segment with this sub-4 meter vehicle where the company will have to face tough competition.

The new Kaigar is designed and built by the corporate design team of France and India. Its design resembles the Kwid, but the Kaigar is provided with wide LED bands that appear on the face of the car, along with the car will come with triple LED headlights. The car features a signature pattern with remy-floating roof, tilted rear window and taped mirror and C-shaped LED taillight. The estimated price of 2021 Renault Kaigar is Rs 5.5 lakhs. Renault will launch this car in India in 2021 and Renault has also claimed that this car will be surpassed to sell 1 million units in the Indian market soon.

Talking about the engine, Renault India has given a completely new engine with the new Kaigar, although the company has not yet provided any information about this engine. We believe the car will be fitted with a 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbo petrol engine and the company will likely offer this SUV in both manual and automatic transmission options. The company has not even seen the glimpse of the cabin of the new car yet, but it is believed that it will be provided with a large screen and digital instrument cluster, in addition to it, Renault Kaigar is also estimated to be a connected car.
